Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand inventory activity and its impact on financial results while supporting process improvements with operations.
Troubleshoot system issues with technology teams related to inventory costing and close activities and maintain accurate data flow.
Calculate reserves for excess and obsolete items and support decisions by applying accounting guidance and materiality considerations.
Coordinate month end close for all inventory and cost of goods sold activity and perform variance reviews on inventory and margin results.
