Job Title: Senior Cost Accountant
Job Description
This role supports the Plant Controller across operations with a strong emphasis on cost accounting, manufacturing variances, and operational partnership. The successful candidate will be hands-on in month-end close, deeply engaged with manufacturing operations, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment following a recent acquisition. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with Operations, Corporate Accounting, and Finance leadership and will contribute to forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities

+ Execute core cost accounting activities, including manufacturing cost analysis, BOM costing, and cost roll-ups, and inventory and material variance analysis.

+ Actively support month-end close, with a standard close completed in 3 days, focusing the first 3 days on entries and days 4–5 on analysis and commentary.
