Job Description: Senior Consultant, Risk Governance

Client: Top 5 Bank

Duration: 6 month rolling contract

Work Location: Hybrid (1–2 days/week, downtown Toronto)

Hours: 37.5 hrs/week; Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Summary

The Senior Consultant, Risk Governance is responsible for providing expert consultation on large-scale business initiatives to ensure appropriate regulatory oversight and risk management practices are applied. This role leads the development and implementation of governance frameworks, policies, and control processes. The consultant will operate with a high degree of autonomy, assessing complex risk scenarios, identifying control gaps, and delivering sustainable remediation solutions across the organization.
