Overview

The Public Affairs team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is seeking a full-time, contract (12 months) Senior Advisor, Communications to collaboratively contribute to the 9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline (9-8-8) marketing communications strategy and awareness activities. This position will report to the Manager, Communications and Marketing for 9-8-8, with dotted-line reporting to 9-8-8 leadership.

Led by CAMH in partnership with other service delivery organizations and technology partners, 9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline is a national helpline for anyone in Canada who is thinking about suicide, or who is worried about someone they know. Support is available by phone and by text, in English and French, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. 9-8-8 calls and texts are answered by trained responders at a network of local, provincial, territorial, and national crisis lines and helplines across the country.
