About the Role

: The Senior Commodity Manager provides strategic leadership for the sourcing, performance, and development of suppliers supporting fabricated metals and plastics used in products and assemblies. This position is accountable for optimizing the preferred supplier base to ensure supply continuity, high quality standards, and competitive total cost outcomes in alignment with business objectives.

In this role, the Senior Commodity Manager serves as the primary liaison across Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive supplier selection and sourcing decisions based on total cost of ownership, risk, and operational performance. The position also leads supplier engagement for new product introductions, prototype builds, and production programs, with responsibility for commercial terms, lead times, inventory strategy, logistics, tariff impacts, and product life cycle planning.
