Senior Cloud Software Engineer

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and operate foundational cloud platform components on AWS and GCP that power Spectacles and the next generation of AR experiences at Snap.
• Build shared infrastructure for Spectacles—such as service mesh, identity and access management, observability, secure compute environments, and multi‑region data and compute platforms—for engineering teams across Specs to consume as reusable building blocks.
• Own services end‑to‑end in production, including SLOs, on‑call rotations, capacity planning, and incident response, ensuring Spectacles experiences stay reliable globally.
• Engineer infrastructure with strong isolation, encryption, and access‑control guarantees so security and privacy are built in by design—a critical bar for a wearable, always‑on AR device.
