Processing new marine claims in accordance with Claims Best Practice/SOP, and Letter of Authority.
a) Issue acknowledgement to insured/intermediaries/marketers.
b) Appoint marine surveyors/adjusters as needed.
c) Ensure prompt and accurate claim registration within 5 working days.
d) Ensure claims file creation in Workview.
e) Reserves created in PolisyAsia & Meridian.
f) File all correspondence and documents.
g) Follow up for initial reports from marine surveyor/adjuster/expert.
h) Manage CABFAC/CABCO recoveries for outward placements.
i) Ensure timely issuance of PLAs, RLAs, and SLAs to all following insurers and treaty reinsurersMonitoring the progress of claims
a) Follow up with marine surveyors/adjusters/experts for claim status and reserve updates.
b) Follow up for Preliminary/Status/Final Reports.
c) Remind insured/intermediaries/marketers for outstanding documents/information.
