Position Overview
- Processing new marine claims in accordance with Claims Best Practice/SOP, and Letter of Authority.
- a) Issue acknowledgement to insured/intermediaries/marketers.
- b) Appoint marine surveyors/adjusters as needed.
- c) Ensure prompt and accurate claim registration within 5 working days.
- d) Ensure claims file creation in Workview.
- e) Reserves created in PolisyAsia & Meridian.
- f) File all correspondence and documents.
- g) Follow up for initial reports from marine surveyor/adjuster/expert.
- h) Manage CABFAC/CABCO recoveries for outward placements.
- i) Ensure timely issuance of PLAs, RLAs, and SLAs to all following insurers and treaty reinsurers.
