About the Opportunity

The Senior Buyer is responsible for coordinating the procurement activities of a buying group by assisting and supporting the Procurement Manager on a daily basis. The Senior Buyer is responsible for gathering information related to contract costing, analysis, statistical reporting, and acts as a liaison between the vendor and end users. The Senior Buyer performs contract maintenance by monitoring and evaluating buying decision rationale, contract value and expiry dates.
