Position Overview

Job Description
Based in Mallusk our client is a growing engineering business who have a need for an additional Senior Buyer to join their team.

The successful Senior Buyer will assist in the procurement of all engineering material & contracted works across a range of projects. You will work closely with design, commercial and accounts teams in ensuring the smooth transition of all orders from technical submittal, to full procurement and invoicing.

Responsibilities:
Sourcing, negotiating, and procuring mechanical and electrical components, equipment, and materials while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery 
Identifying and selecting reliable suppliers / contractors 
Ensuring all components meet required technical specifications and quality standards. Addressing any technical concerns with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product compatibility
