About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Building Control Officer to manage building consents and compliance while fostering strong relationships with engineers, architects, and other key stakeholders. Based in Martinborough , this role requires more than technical expertise—we are seeking someone who can lead by example and provide sound professional judgement. We value someone with a growth mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a strong customer focus, who can mentor others and contribute to continuous improvement across the team. You’ll hold a building industry qualification such as a Diploma in Building Control Surveying and have solid knowledge of the Building Act, Building Code, and relevant legislation, including Acts, Regulations, and Bylaws governing building, drainage, and plumbing.
