**Overview**

ABM is hiring a **Senior Benefits Accountant** to be responsible for the proper accounting of all employee benefits with a focus on balance sheet reconciliations and expense variance analysis. In this challenging role, the Senior Benefits Accountant will work with the manager and other team members to organize, reconcile and streamline all benefits accounts and recommend any process improvements. Non-union benefits account for 60% of ABM’s employee population and Union benefits account for the remaining 40%. The union segment requires a different reconciliation approach due to the numerous union contracts that ABM is involved with on a yearly basis. A successful candidate will have human resources knowledge as a backbone to the accounting activities that are tied to payroll, health and welfare benefits, PTO benefits, retirement benefits, and other fringe benefits that are required to meet certain business operations.
