Senior Backend Systems Engineer (Node.js / Distributed Systems / Event-Driven Architecture)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Backend Systems Engineer to help build and scale the backend infrastructure behind our cloud communications and online fax SaaS platform.
This role is centered around backend systems engineering, distributed processing, and asynchronous event-driven architectures operating in high-volume production environments. The ideal candidate has deep Node.js expertise and strong experience building reliable backend services that process large-scale asynchronous workloads using queue- and worker-based systems.
This is NOT a traditional web application or full-stack development role. Candidates whose experience is primarily centered around frontend frameworks, CRUD applications, business web platforms, or synchronous REST API development are unlikely to be a fit.
