What the role is

The Municipal Services Office (MSO) was set up in 2014 to improve the coordination, delivery and quality of municipal services by the Government and Town Councils. These services include the upkeep and improvement of common areas in public and private housing estates, and the upgrading or provision of neighbourhood infrastructure. Having reaped these early, low-hanging fruits, MSO and our partner agencies are now on a multi‑year effort to more fundamentally integrate and optimise decision‑making and ground operations across the sector. We are transforming the way works are scheduled and manpower deployed on the ground, multi‑skilling workers to perform several adjacent job functions and deploying operations‑technology meaningfully.
