The Senior Data Engineer is a technical-facing role within an Information Services, Analytics, or Engineering organization that leverages business relationships to design, develop, and deploy analytics solutions. As such, the Senior Data Engineer works with Business Stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Managers, Data Scientists, and Cloud Engineers to understand business needs and requirements, assess the impacts of those needs and translate them to data-driven and data-centric enterprise solutions and develop and build the published data layer objects and/or visualizations for consumption by the end user community.
