$1,458.98 – $1,732.11 per week (salary listed as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement). This position supports environmental programs through monitoring, emergency response and litigation, providing leadership to technologists and maintaining laboratory analytical services. Responsibilities
Carry out moderate to highly complex and/or specialty analysis/testing, coordinate workload within the unit/group, and provide leadership to technologists in the preparation and analysis of inorganic pollutants. Implement new/improved methods for sample preparation, analysis and reporting across a variety of parameters. Provide technical services including troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment, workload coordination and monitoring to meet turnaround times. Laboratory expertise
