Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the design and delivery of high‑value economic development programmes, including day‑to‑day coordination of sector‑specific funds and related governance management and contestable investment processes.
• Contributing to economic master‑planning and impact assessment work through research, data analysis, evidence gathering, stakeholder engagement, and strategic advice.
• Leading fast‑moving projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring clear planning, strong coordination, and quality outputs.
• Building trusted relationships across Council, Crown, industry, and key partners, while supporting advice, reporting, and Māori outcomes through te ao Māori perspectives.
