Snapshot of the Role

Coordinates the flow of work by performing the following duties personally or through supporting staff.

Responsibilities

• Cash Control, Cash Disbursement, General Journal
  • Ensure proper documentation.
  • Record and reconcile cash disbursement entries.
  • Maintain and post journal entries.
• Month End Closing
  • Review the chart of accounts.
  • Ensure month end accounting entries are complete.
  • Reconcile debtor and creditor accounts.
  • Prepare monthly financial and management accounts timely.
  • Prepare sales analysis and aging report.
• Costing
  • Prepare costing and price.
  • Prepare costing analysis for monthly meetings.
