Position Overview
Purpose:
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial records. This position is responsible for complex accounting activities, month‑end close, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The Senior Accountant also supports process improvements and provides guidance to junior accounting staff.
Responsibilities:
Drive month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.Reconcile complex accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and prepaid/deferral schedules.Prepare customer invoices and manage collection efforts for these customers.Assist wit...
