We are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant for an organization in Lenexa, KS that will play an integral role in daily accounting operations, covering a range of responsibilities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities. Key duties include reviewing and processing vendor invoices with correct general ledger coding, ensuring proper authorization, and timely data entry in QuickBooks. The position is expected to maintain organized vendor files with complete W-9 documentation, manage both the accounts payable inbox and vendor communications, and prepare weekly payment runs by check, ACH, or wire, while promptly reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies as they arise.
