**Description:** This Senior Accountant role is within the Payroll Accounting team of the People Financial Services organization. Responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:
- general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
- supporting 1LMX S4 ledger implementation and the development of new processes/internal controls
- SOX internal controls adherence, documentation and reviews
- process documentation, improvements, and automation efforts
- providing backup support to several team processes such as Sundry administration, wire approvals, daily/weekly bank file balancing, etc.
**Basic Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelors level degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business field
- Demonstrated senior level accounting and analytical skills, as evident and confirmed through related work experience
