We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with solid UK accounting experience to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the fixed asset register and perform asset reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and reporting packs
Conduct bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations accurately and timely
Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations
Ensure full VAT compliance, including input/output VAT, adjustments, and audit support
Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting and financial planning
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions effectively
Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
Support year-end accounts preparation and external audit processes
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
Requirements
ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified or finalist
