Position Summary

Reporting into the Controller, the Senior Accountant will oversee our Indigenous entities, assist in the budget/forecast process, lead the year end review engagement and assist in month end related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze profit and loss discrepancies and investigate variances
• Assist Controller in putting together monthly financial statements and reporting package
• Prepare WIP report data for MECI and joint ventures and support revenue recognition in accordance with ASPE
• Act as subject matter expert (SME) for Indigenous relationships, including joint ventures, partnerships, and subsidiaries
• Perform joint venture accounting and equity accounting
• Complete intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations
