Description


A large financial service firm in Bethesda is looking for a staff accountant

Responsibilities include:

+ Preparing financial statements

+ Maintaining and reconciling accounts

+ Preparing and filing tax returns

+ Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

+ Ensuring all accounting tasks and financial records comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3 plus years of General Ledger experience. Strong technology skills are critical, particularly expertise with Excel.
