About Us

Our friendly, popular and successful Primary School is seeking an additional Teaching Assistant to support SEND pupils with personalised learning. This will be with pupils who either are in receipt of an EHCP or on the pathway to being awarded one. The role is likely to be a combination of support both in class and interventions outside of the classroom. A lunchtime supervision duty is also included.

Candidate Requirements

• Skilled and confident in supporting learning, particularly with SEND pupils, to raise achievement.
• Recent experience of a primary school setting either in mainstream or specialist settings.
• Patience, understanding, warmth and empathy with pupils.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
• A creative and enthusiastic ‘can do’ approach.
• Willingness to go that ‘extra mile’.
