SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary and specialist schools across Rochdale and Oldham in OL16 who are looking to appoint dedicated SEND Assistants for full-time, part-time and permanent roles.

These opportunities are ideal for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants or those looking to build a long-term career supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Positions are available to start immediately and for upcoming terms, supporting children with needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs and complex learning difficulties.

As an SEND Assistant, you will be supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum, manage behaviour and develop confidence both academically and socially.
