Are you a Teaching Assistant with a good knowledge of Maths, Science and English? This school in the Tameside area is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or Teaching Assistant for general curriculum support for pupils with learning difficulties. You will work with pupils up to year 6. You will support pupils with behaviour difficulties and ADHD. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is a team player with goodmunication skills and an ability to work in partnership with teachers. Writing your own IEPs and be key worker for a few pupils and liaise with their parents are part of your daily activities. You will need to take initiative. You will report to and liaise with the head of the SEN department. The successful candidate will have to have referenceable experience with Special Needs pupils in a school environment or equivalent.
