SEN Teaching Assistant - Scunthorpe and Surrounding Areas
We’re supporting a range of SEN schools and mainstream primary settings across Scunthorpe and nearby villages to find caring, flexible Teaching Assistants ready to make a difference. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about supporting children with additional needs, whether in specialist settings or 1:1 within mainstream classrooms.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (including autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties)
• Providing tailored 1:1 support or small group interventions in SEN or primary settings
• Assisting with learning activities, communication and emotional regulation
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a calm, positive environment
What we’re looking for:
• Experience or training in SEN, or relevant school-based experience
• A patient, compassionate and proactive approach
