- Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Assist with classroom activities and learning resources
- Monitor and record pupil progress
- Promote positive behaviour and independence
- Support pupils with personal care if required
- Has experience of working with and supporting children in a school environment.
- Can work confidently, effectively, flexibly and independently.
- Has knowledge of working with children with special needs in the Primary phase of child development
- Has good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
