We are recruiting an SEN Teacher for a secondary provision catering to young people aged 11-19 with Special Educational Needs and communication & interaction needs. Key duties
Lead teaching and learning for groups and individual pupils with special educational needs.Design adaptive curriculum pathways that promote independence, wellbeing and academic progress.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including therapists, behaviour support staff and families.Embed strength-based approaches, positive behaviour strategies and inclusive practices.Track, evaluate and report on pupil progress, contributing to their longer-term preparation for adulthood.What we’re seeking
