Hays Education are supporting a local school in recruiting a dedicated SEN Science Teacher to work with them in the autumn term. The role is to start in September 2026 and will run till December in the first instance and possibly beyond. The details are as follows:

The school is located in north Birmingham, about a 15-minute drive from the city centre and describe themselves as a focussed and dedicated school who have young people at the centre of their ethos

The school caters for children at KS3 level with social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH)

The role entails supporting children in class who have SEMH and some other additional SEN

The role is Monday to Friday, am – pm and is on a term-time-only time sheet basis

The school will support training for candidates who may not have experience of working in these kinds of settings
