Responsibilities Maintain and sustain semiconductor manufacturing equipment (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, diffusion). Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective root cause solutions. Monitor equipment performance metrics (uptime, MTBF, MTTR) and drive improvements. Work closely with Process Engineers to optimize tool performance and yield. Lead or participate in equipment improvement projects (cost, quality, productivity). Support new equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning. Develop and update maintenance procedures, SOPs, and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and cleanroom protocols. Engage with equipment vendors for troubleshooting, upgrades, and spare parts management. Train technicians and junior engineers on equipment operation and maintenance.
