Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0080-12, Security Specialist (Port Recovery) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SECTOR DETROIT CONTINGENCY PLANNING and FORCE RDNS STF in DETROIT, Michigan. Responsibilities You will serve as a Security Specialist (Port Recovery) and be responsible for the port recovery and resiliency implementation and enforcement of the Security and Accountability of Every Port. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Ensuring that Maritime Transportation System Recovery Plan (MTSRP) and Salvage Response Plan (SRP) are developed, approved, and maintained in accordance with applicable regulatory and policy requirements. Providing input to revise policy and guidance for planning, conducting, and evaluating contingency exercises and events and utilizes lessons learned/best practices to update plans.
