Our client is seeking to employ a suitably qualified the incumbent in this position will be responsible for maintaining security standards at clients site; and providing a secure workplace to protect authorized personnel, customers, suppliers, contractors, and visitors and safeguard company property.

Duties are:

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with the South African Merchant Shipping Act and Regulations, as amended.


• Ensure access to the site is controlled, and the permit requesting system is adhered to.


• Investigate and report the cause of security accidents/incidents and near misses.


• Ensure security incidents are recorded in the incident management system on the K2 platform and reported to the necessary regulator/authorities.


• Ensure that adequate corrective action is undertaken and recommend preventative measures.
