**Job Description**

**Security Officer Tier 1-Security Department Security Guards - Union Square- Full Time- Nights- 11pm-7:15am**

Patrols and secures hospital property, employees, patients and visitors. Consults with and keeps supervisor informed of activities, needs and problems in assigned areas

**Qualifications**

+ **Education Requirements**
+ High school diploma or equivalency.
+ **Experience Requirements**
+ A minimum of one year experience as a security officer in an institutional setting or in a law enforcement setting
+ **Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable)**
+ New York State Security Guard certification.
+ Currently licensed motor vehicle operator in NY state preferred.
