Duties Description The New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) Office of Facilities and Business Services and Office of Cultural Education (OCE) are seeking dependable and service-oriented candidates for a Security Officer position with the Cultural Education Center (CEC), supporting the New York State Museum, Library, and Archives. Security Officers play an essential frontline role in maintaining the safety and security of visitors, staff, collections, and facilities across the CEC. Through a visible presence, attentive observation, and prompt response to incidents, Security Officers help ensure that one of the State’s most significant cultural and research complexes remains safe, welcoming, and accessible to the public.
