PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To monitor, coordinate, and respond to all security-related activities through the control room, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, assets, and operations. The Security Control Room Operator is responsible for surveillance systems, communication with security personnel, incident logging, emergency coordination, and maintaining accurate operational records. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Surveillance Monitoring. Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems continuously. Detect suspicious activity, security breaches, safety hazards, and operational irregularities. Operate surveillance equipment effectively and report technical faults immediately. Retrieve and review CCTV footage when required for investigations. Monitor access control systems and authorize entry/exit where applicable. Verify visitor, contractor, and employee access requests.
