Summary These positions are located in Fire Island National Seashore, in the Maintenance Division. The primary purpose of these positions is to perform laboring duties that require moderately heavy physical effort using common hand tools and power equipment. Anticipated Entry on Duty: May 2026 Responsibilities Operate heavy power equipment and hand and light power tools to maintain buildings, grounds, roads, and trails. Load, unload, and move supplies, materials, furniture, and equipment; perform tasks such as setting signs, painting, landscaping, and litter removal.
