Job overview
The John Radcliffe Theatre Department is looking for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Deputy Team Leader, scrub nurse/ ODP to join our team of highly skilled scrub practitioners. The John Radcliffe Main Operating Theatre Department is a theatre unit where routine and emergency surgery (general, gynae, spinal) takes place, predominately for adults. It is a tertiary referral centre for vascular surgery and a major trauma centre.
 Main duties of the job We have one Band scrub vacancy within our JR Theatre department
Develop the ability to work effectively at a more senior level,

Develop the ability to make effective decisions based on all available information and guide the rest of the theatre team to deliver high quality care to our patients,

Develop negotiating and motivational skills,
