Flexible Work, Better Balance
The School Nursing service is part of the Children’s Health services that provide community‑based services for children and young people aged 5‑19 years. The service works with stakeholders across a number of settings and organisations to lead delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 5‑19, improving child health outcomes and ensuring families at risk are identified early.
The service is led by specialist school nurses and supported by a skill‑mix team, working across schools, homes, clinics, and community venues to deliver public health outcomes for children and families in Walsall.
