Applications are now open for the Scotland Government Scholarship 2026 , a fully funded opportunity for Pakistani female students pursuing undergraduate or master’s/MPhil degrees at HEC-recognized universities in Pakistan . Funded by the Scottish Government and administered by the British Council Pakistan , this program aims to empower women through access to quality education in high-impact fields.
This scholarship covers full tuition, hostel costs, and travel allowances for eligible students. For the first time, the program includes support for four-year bachelor’s degrees in addition to two-year master’s/MPhil programs . The initiative is designed to promote education in key development sectors and support women from underrepresented backgrounds.
