Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a SCM Supervisor.
**What you'll do**:
**Primary Function**:
This position supervises customer service analysts, production planners and material planners; to ensure the timely availability of materials at all phases at the process.
Also, maintains and monitors inventory levels according to company policy.
**Essential Functions**:
A. Supervises inventory control activities and evaluates excess and obsolete material elimination.
B. Seeks process improvements opportunities for inventory management process; maintains inventory reports; analyzes material movement improvements; and establishes inventory locations and space utilization strategies.
C. Understands materials planning for assuring customer delivery and inventory objectives are met; and reviews engineering changes to ensure activities are effectively coordinated, implemented and avoid obsolete material.
