The joined research activities at the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology of the University of Zurich and University Hospital Zurich and the Department of Oncology of University of Zurich and the Children Hospital Zurich are directed towards translating innovative immunotherapies to the clinic in the framework of the NCCR children and cancer. In this position, the successful candidate will contribute to a translational project focused on understanding the immune landscape of B‑cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‑ALL) after CAR T‑cell therapy and on developing therapeutic strategies to overcome tumor microenvironment and metabolic‑driven resistance. The project combines patient‑derived samples, single‑cell and flow cytometry‑based immune profiling, in vitro functional assays, and preclinical xenograft models to advance precision oncology approaches in cell therapy.
