Science Technician

Location: Newcastle

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £100 - £120 per day

The successful Science Technician will be responsible for stock taking, preparing science classrooms and practical resources, maintaining equipment and working closely with Science Teachers and departmental staff to support the delivery of lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician or in a laboratory environment
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a science setting
• Experience preparing equipment and resources for practical lessons
• Strong organisational and stock management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A proactive and reliable approach to supporting teaching and learning
