JOB SUMMARY

As School Nurse with The Fedcap School (https://www.fedcap.org/educational-services/) , you'll be a key member of a dedicated, robust team of professionals providing a holistic approach to education and support for 65 students with disabilities. You will participate in ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for all students as part of our Wrap Around Model that ensures a team focus to support and reinforces positive development in all areas of our students' lives.


RESPONSIBILITIES


+ Respond to medical emergencies, administering first aid and assessing students for illness, including determining the potential of contagious conditions that require immediate treatment and isolation from other students.

+ Administer medication to students with ongoing health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, seizure disorders, etc.

+ Conduct mandated screenings of vision, hearing, and height/weight.
