Position Overview
**Description**
A Scaffold Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the planning, estimating, erection, and dismantling of scaffolding on construction sites, ensuring safety and project timelines are met. Key responsibilities include supervising crews, conducting safety inspections, managing materials and equipment, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring work adheres to all standards and regulations. This leadership role requires strong organizational, technical, and safety management skills.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:**
+ Serve as the primary point of contact with clients regarding scaffold-related work and project needs.
+ Perform behavior-based safety observations to promote safe work practices.
+ Lead the scaffold crew and report directly to the MISTRASβ Scaffold Operations Managers or Scaffold Project Manager.
