Overview

The SAP Development Manager – Finance is responsible for leading the Barcelona-based SAP FI/CO development team supporting Werfen’s financial accounting, controlling, and finance business processes.

This role combines people leadership, SAP functional expertise, and technical solution governance. The manager will oversee day-to-day team operations, delivery execution, resource planning, technical direction, and capability development while supporting Werfen’s long-term SAP modernization and Clean Core journey.

The successful candidate must be both functionally strong in SAP FI/CO processes and technically credible in SAP development and architecture. The role requires the ability to guide solution design decisions, challenge unnecessary customizations, and promote scalable, upgrade-friendly SAP solutions aligned with SAP standard capabilities.
