To safely clean and sanitize processing rooms and equipment while understanding and complying with all Food Safety and Safety policies and procedures. Perform self-inspection (pre-op) in preparation for inspection by Quality Assurance and USDA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
· Using high-pressure hoses and chemical applications, clean all equipment being used by production.
· Make sure to follow and know all 7 Steps of Sanitation
· Perform self-inspection (pre-op) of all general areas (floors, drains, walls, etc.) and equipment in preparation for Quality Assurance and USDA
· Ensure all equipment meets sanitation standards as required by USDA and ensure the room is ready on time for production to start processing.
