Position Overview

Job Description
SGS are seeking a keen enthusiastic person to fill the sample preparer role at our laboratory in Kalgoorlie. Our culture is a focused and supportive one, and we are genuinely committed to making it a great place to work for all employees. Good literacy, team playing, attention to detail and initiative are required. Full training is provided. This is not a FIFO position. Roster for this position includes day and night shifts.
Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
Unloading, loading, sorting and weighing of samples onto drying racks 
Reconcile samples delivered with the supplied sample submission form listing extras and those not received onto the sample sorting sheet
Responsible for milling samples and transferring sub-samples to sample packets while maintaining numerical order and following established quality control procedures and avoiding contamination.
