Description : A marketing/trading company in the chemicals and plastics industry requires a Sales Manager to join their team. Key duties include: sales and marketing of products; sourcing of products; negotiations with suppliers; managing key accounts; turnover and profit accountability for the business; negotiation of prices with overseas companies; establishment of local pricing strategies; preparation and implementation of contingency plans for suppliers; and developing lasting relationships with clients and suppliers.
Key Requirements : A BSc in Chemistry with a minimum of 5 years sales experience of plastic resins or similar products. A national sales responsibility, business acumen, and a sound understanding of pricing, margin structures, and product costs are required. A valid driverβs license and own transport is also essential. Willingness to travel nationally is required.
